This house was originally built for the George Henry Schoell Family on Terry's Addition. The Dutch colonial house was designed by local architect John Olsen (of 1168 Reaney Ave) and features 15 leaded glass windows, open front staircase and large built-in buffet. A single garage was added in 1923, along with a retaining wall. The original address was 1085 Fauquier, the street name was changed to Bush Avenue in 1957 to honor Archibald Bush, VP of 3M. George Henry Shoell owned and operated a drug store at 793 East Seventh Street until his death July 27, 1927 of lung cancer. The house stayed in the family until 1945. History 1960s siding was removed and the original cedar facade was restored.
