Integral part of Mason City`s first planned community development, which grew to represent the largest cluster of Prairie Style houses in America. Primary planner and developer of the area, known as Rock Crest/Rock Glen, was the noted architect Griffen. The Rule House is one of only 5 houses (out of a planned 16) built completely to Griffin`s plans.
