Ketchum Administrative Site, 117 & 119 River St Ketchum, Blaine County, ID
The compound was the District Office of the Ketchum District Ranger, Sawtooth National Forest from 1929 to 1965. From 1965 to 1992 it served as a Forest Service work station and residence for employees. In 1992 the compound was exchanged out of federal ownership. The compound is typical of Forest Service compounds constructed during the Depression Era, and retains much of its original character.

The structure is in its original location. It was built as part of an administrative site compound for the Ketchum Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest. The structure served as the District Ranger`s dwelling until a new dwelling was built elsewhere in 1962. Thereafter, this structure was used as living quarters for other Forest Service personnel until it was exchanged out of federal ownership in 1992.
