Benjamin Harrison House

Built in 1872, for Benjamin Harrison (1833-1901), 23rd President of the United States, and his first wife, Caroline Lavinia Scott (1832-1892). Except for the years he served in Washington D.C., this 16-room Italianate mansion was Harrison's home from when it was built and he died here in 1901. Today, it is operated as a house museum.
