Built 1930, to the design of Emery Roth (1871-1948), The San Remo occupies one of New York's most prestigious addresses overlooking Central Park, making it popular with many Hollywood stars and leading figures in the business world. Classically embellished, its built of limestone around a steel frame and cladded in pale brown brick and terra cotta while the base is finished with a limestone facing.
