15-27 North Main St (Commercial Buildings), 23 North Main St Oshkosh, Winnebago County, WI
An excellent example of the Queen Anne commercial building, fairly rare in Oshkosh. Rudolph J. Weisbrod was the original owner of the building. He was a furniture manufacturer and undertaker who used the building for his business. In 1884-5, Weisbrod extensively remodeled the building and opened a saloon and hall. In 1891 the building was remodeled again and sold to H. Teichgraber who opened the "Alhambra" saloon. Ono of few structures that survived the 1875 fire.
