GAMBLE HOUSE IS THE M0ST_CQffil^E MD BEST PRESERVED EXAMPLE OF THE WORK OF THE INTERMATIONALLY NOTED PASADENA ARCHITECTURAL FIRM OF GREENE AND GREENE- BUILT IN 1908^DURING THE ABCHITECTS MOST PRODUCTIVE PERIOD IT EMBODIES THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF THE CALIFORNIA BUNGALOW STYLE AND IS ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES OF THE AMERICAN CRAFTSMAN MOVEMENT.
