This structure is representative of Second Renaissance Revival design in commercial Washington at the turn of the Twentieth Century. Fashioned after firehouse designs of the Nineteenth Century, 425-429 Eleventh Street has maintained most of its original architectural integrity and is still a major contributing factor tot east side of Eleventh Street.
