Bojorquez House, 459 South Convent Ave Tucson, Pima County, AZ
With its newly shingled hipped roof, this structure dominates the row of dwellings among which it is located. An Early Transitional adobe row house, it displays Anglo influence through its roof shape and gabled dormer vent, but retains the Traditional Sonoran building characteristics of a flush front and contiguity with its neighbors. Prior to being converted for use as a dwelling, the structure housed a family-owned grocery store from the 1930s to the 1960s.
