Sole surviving example of late 18th - early 19th century French construction in Indiana. // c. 1800. Wood frame with clapboards. Rectangular, one-and-a-half stories, 29`3" x 39`3". Gable roof, wall construction made of vertical posts spaces from 8" - 20" apart, stone foundation. Original porches (east and west sides) removed during 19th century, one stone chimney removed during 19th century.
