Colonel Jeremiah Y. Dashiell House, 511 Villita St San Antonio, Bexar County, TX

Built in the mid-19th century, the Dashiell House was then one of the more pretentious houses in the Villita area of San Antonio and was, in general, characteristic of this type of dwelling. Today it is the only surviving example, a fact which increases its historic value. It is also significant as an example of vernacular architecture.
