Erasmus Gill House, 53 South Market St Petersburg, Petersburg, VA
This simple clapboard house, the central portion of which was probably built c. 1785-1791, shows a classic influence in its pediment on the porch. It is particularly noteworthy for its fine interior woodwork, probably added in the early 19th century. This house has been much changed throughout the years.
