Puget Sound Power & Light Company, White River Hydroelectric Project, 600 North River Ave Dieringer, Pierce County, WA
A combination run-of-the-river and large-storage hydroelectric operation, the White River Hydroelectric Project, when completed in 1911, served as the controlling works in western Washington`s largest hydroelectric system. It was designed and constructed by the Pacific Coast Power Company, a subsidiary of the Boston-based firm of Stone & Webster.
