Lafayette Lanier School, 6001 Twentieth Ave Valley, Chambers County, AL
Designed by Atlanta architect R. Kennon Perry, the Colonial-Revival school was built in 1935 by West Point Manufacturing Company to serve the children in the mill village. It was named after Lafayette Lanier, Jr., who had served as the company`s General Agent until his 1930 death.
