Christ Episcopal Church, 605 Twenty-fifth Ave Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, AL
Established January 7, 1828, Christ Church is the second oldest Episcopal congregation in Alabama. / Portions of the present Gothic style structure date to the original 1829 sanctuary. Interior furnishings and landscaped grounds have been added in later years as memorials to pioneer citizens of Tuscaloosa. William Nichols, the English architect who designed the Tuscaloosa Capital and the original University campus, also designed this structure.
