614 West Lake Street Home History Joralemon and Ferrin, 1888 /renovated, Dovolis Johnson and Ruggieri, 1990 A Richardsonian Romanesque building that features rusticated sandstone facades, bay and arched windows, and a heavy stone parapet. With its broad windows and narrow piers, the Crowell Block building has a more open, cellular look than is typical of the Richardsonian style. Frank Crow- ell, after whom the building is named, was a real estate developer.
