Main St District, 614-632 Main St Rapid City, Pennington County, SD
The Main Street District borders the Rapid City Historic Commercial District which was a commercial center for transient miners in the 1870s and soon became the whole-sale center for western South Dakota and the "Gate Way City for the Black Hills." These buildings although of a later date, still relate to the bordering historic district in scale and in architectural detail.
