Erchless
Built 1935, for Howard Phipps (1881-1981) and his wife, Harriet Dyer Price (1901-1981). Similar in style to his brother's house, Old Westbury Gardens, Erchless sits on an estate of 93-acres and is known for its spectacular gardens, laid out by Howard. It was afterwards the home of their son, Howard Pipps Jr., who wishing to downsize in retirement placed it on the market in 2018 for $29.9 million.
