Samuel Gorton, Jr. House, 777 Love Lane, East Greenwich, Kent County, RI
At the core of this late seventeenth-century, stone-ender house is a pilastered, stone chimney. The house was expanded several times giving it a somewhat rambling feel today. Of note inside are the flat, s-shaped balusters of the stair. Behind the dwelling is a cider house, dating to the late seventeenth or early eighteenth century.
