Howard Rd Historic District, Isaaz Boston House, 1004 Howard Rd, Washington, District of Columbia, DC
This is one of two vernacular I-house forms in the Howard Road historic District. Examination of foundations suggests that the side-gable main block represents an expansion of the present rear ell. Property was originally owned by Daniel Boston, passing to his son Isaac in 1875. It remained in the Boston family until 1907.
