Not a mobile home

For some reason, this is showing up on the web as a mobile home? It isn’t. This stick built home was formerly in La Crosse, WI. When St. Francis Hospital expanded, this house was in the way so it was sold and moved to its present location. It is NOT a trailer with wheels but a house.

Mobile home

Moved in the 1940s from an area near St. Francis Hospital. The hospital was adding on and this house had to go. The first family to live in it in Onalaska built a garage on the lot first and lived there before the house was moved to its current location. The floor trusses have square nails which date to the 1860s.
