Trigg, Dobbs & Company Warehouse, 1152 Market St Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN
Since construction, the building at 1142 Market Street has been used for warehouse facilities. Its architectural significance is derived from its role as one component of a two block area of multi-storied row warehouses. As a group, these buildings possess uniform appearance, mass, and scale which produce a feeling of homogeneity and monumentality. Historically, these buildings were constructed in the midst of a railroad oriented portion of the downtown. They are the only multi-story row warehouses in Chattanooga.
