John J. Jacques Building, 11-15 West Main St Waterbury, New Haven County, CT
Contributing element of late nineteenth/early twentieth century commercial district. Built by Dr. John J. Jacques, noted Waterbury landlord and speculator. Housed Dr. Jacques` Park Place Pharmacy and John C. Gillette Flower Shop at opening. Jacques family lived on upper floors till his death in 1887. First floor occupied by lunch rooms, restaurants after 1900.
