Favorite Features and Memories
Our favorite thing about our house is the three seasons patio, big yard, mature trees and landscaping, and surrounding nature. We love that the sun beams in our home from all directions, and being able to walk in and out of our home all day. During the summer and fall, we live outside spending time with friends and family, watching and listening to all the incredible wildlife, having bonfires under the twinkle lights, and frolicking in our 1984 convertible on Saturday’s to get lattes and pastries.

House Remodel
After purchasing our house in 2019, we had an exciting year of updates in 2021. During the summer, we replaced the roof and driveway as well as removed a dead tree and painted our doors yellow to add a splash of color! We also added some more flowers to add some extra cheer. 🥰☀️🏡

We’re moving in!
We moved in shortly before Christmas and we were so excited about our new home that we dove into our home remodeling projects the day we signed our purchase agreement! We painted the whole house, ripped up the carpet downstairs, and laid the new flooring ourselves. We worked so hard that my husband lost 10 lbs over Christmas, even with all the Christmas cookies. Talk about sweat equity, am I right? 😉

Thomas and Patricia Hoedeman 1992-1993
Thomas and Patricia Hoedeman moved into 15315 Skyview Drive in 1992 but stayed only about a year and a half. It is likely they are the owners referenced in the home’s fact sheet, which noted that a job offer was prompting the sale. In 1993, Thomas relocated to Chicago to pursue a new career opportunity, and his professional path soon advanced. He currently serves as Director of Sales in Minneapolis for uni® Brands Corporation, the company behind uniball™ pens, POSCA paint markers, and LAMY designer writing instruments.

Steven and Deborah Fuhrman 1986-1992
In 1986, Steven and Deborah Fuhrman purchased the house at 15315 Skyview for $70,250. The couple had married in Hennepin County in 1984 and were still newlyweds when they moved in. During their time in the home, they welcomed a daughter. By 1994, after they had moved out, a son was born. It seems likely that, as their family began to grow, starting with baby Katherine in 1990, they decided to sell the house in search of a home with more space and additional bedrooms.
