1664 West Taylor Avenue, Saint Paul, MN, USA

Unfortunately, the Survey Team could not locate the original permit for this house at City Hall. The house does not appear on a 1908 atlas of the City, but does appear in a 1916 atlas. In 1928 a permit for a $100 alteration was issued to owner Mary Miller. One a several turn of the century homes near Hamline University. Notes: Box-like, symmetrical massing. Geometric tracery in front dormer windows. Rounded arched window opening on west facade contains a colored and leaded glass transom. Hipped roof porch (now enclosed) has small Tuscan columns on porch base.
