1740 West Taylor Avenue, Saint Paul, MN, USA

The builder and original owner of this house was L. A. Papke and Co., general contractors and builders. Papke did not reside here and it would sem that the house was built for speculative purposes. A simple Craftsman Bungalow, marred by inappropriate fake brick siding. First Owner: L. A. Papke and Co. Notes: Fish scale shingles over 2nd floor and decorated bargeboards with geometric pattern. Enclosed porch with hipped roof.
