My grandfather built this house
This house was built in 1958 by Joseph Procaccino and his sons Thomas and John (Jackie) Procaccino. It was also worked on by Joe's brothers and cousins. All were in the trade business. Joe was a plumber by trade. An addition was put on the back of the house consisting of two bedrooms in the early 1970's. Today it is still owned by a Procaccino, Joe's daughter in law. The house was always filled with family and friends. In the 60's, 70's and 80's it was an open-door policy. Thomas was a local police officer and other officers, and town folk would stop by to watch whatever game was on tv that night. The basement was done up as most Italian households were, with a bar, tv room and bathroom. It was a very welcoming place.
