2504 West 40th Street Home History Lowell Lamoreaux, 1906 A wonderful Swiss Chalet-style house. Balconies sheltered under deep overhanging eaves extend all the way around the house, which also has a terrace offering views of Lake Harriet. Lovell, this Swiss Chalet style home was designed by Lowell Lamoreaux and is in fantastic condition. The balcony sweeps around the home and offers views of Lake Harriet.
