2572 West Lake of the Isles Parkway, Minneapolis, MN, USA

2572 West Lake of the Isles Parkway Home History Harry Jones, 1908 Classical Revival meets Arts and Crafts, with intriguing results. The house was built for an Austrian immigrant who found success in the New World in the roofing and cornice business. similar but not identical "Mediterranean" houses occupy a hill top lot and share an unusually elaborate staircase. The steps lead from Oliver in a single wide flight, then divide at a niched wall before continuing up to the houses. Citation: Millett, Larry. AIA Guide to the Minneapolis Lake District. Minnesota Historical Society Press, 2009.
