Wharton-Stewart House, 27 Christian St Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA
The house was built in the middle of the 18th century, intended as the first section of a later-to-be-completed house. Although the companion house was completed in the 19th century, only minor additions were made to this house and the interior remained intact. The house was demolished in 1967 to make way for the Delaware Expressway.
