3 Dickinson St (House), Binghamton, Broome County, NY
3 Dickinson Street is a large four dwelling apartment house which was constructed in the late 1800s and was intended to be used as quality housing for the working class people of Binghamton. The design of this structure (twin of 1 Dickinson Street) was influenced by the style used in the Dwight Block which once laid adjacent to this property. The house is easily recognizable by the 3-sided, two story, bay windows which flank both sides of the main entrance and the bracketed gables which crowned these unique windows.
