Douglas Fisk/e Resident

The agreement to construct this residence (4626 Fremont Av S. Mpls) was signed by its architect Harry Wild Jones on 11 Jul 1893 for Douglas A. Fiske. Harry and Fiske were well-acquainted. They were colleagues on the Mpls Parks Board and had a wide circle of acquaintances in common. In 1907, Harry again went to work for Fiske, and partner Sam Thorpe, remodeling the Woodward Building ("Mpls Journal" 6.9.1907), 1st Av & 7th St., Mpls.
