The home today <3

*** found some photos of the house being built last night! Just added them to this post*** Hi everyone! Thanks for the add! I’ve joined this group to showcase my grandparents amazing one of a kind home that is on the market. The “arch house” in minnetonka. Both of them have passed away, and I would LOVE for this home to live on. It needs work (including a new roof or a good amount of roof repair) but it’s liveable and incredible. Feel free to message me with questions. Photos below! Here is the description we have on for sale by owner: “One of a kind 2.56 acre lot, one of the last multi-acre lots left in Minnetonka! Incredible opportunity. Property can be subdivided into 2-3 lots, approved by the city of Minnetonka. The property is walking distance to Shady Oak Lake and Shady Oak Beach, (see photos) maybe the best beach in the metro area! The lake is deep, spring fed and clear water. Great for fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, etc. The property sits right next to a Hennepin Co. Regional Bike, walking trail (see photo) The unique home is one of a kind and was built in 1965 as an FHA experimental home designed by my father. It was our family home/property since 1965 and very sad to see it go!” https://www.forsalebyowner.com/.../62c98714a0e72e29900a9204 *** thanks to Kara Bancroft for the star tribune article!!! 87 comments Kara Bancroft Oh my gosh, amazing house. Posting again about my amazing grandparents one of a kind home that’s for sale. The arch house in Hopkins. I’m sure some of you are familiar. We had it for sale by owner but it’s now being represented by a realtor so we have more professional photos! Link below. I truly don’t want this house to be demolished. It needs quite a bit of work however,(including a new roof or a good amount of roof repair) but it's liveable and incredible. Maybe someone here knows a person or company that wants to restore and preserve it?!? Reach out with any questions. From my dad: “One of a kind 2.56 acre lot, one of the last multi-acre lots left in Minnetonka! Incredible opportunity. Property can be subdivided into 2-3 lots, approved by the city of Minnetonka.
