Demolition

On the day of demolition the last owner of the property and I watched as the building came down. Nothing inside or outside the house was repurposed. All of the house debris was removed and the foundation hole filled in. Landscape edging, stone foot paths and other debris in the yard remain. The city had to be contacted by numerous neighbors to enforce empty lot maintenance. Future plans for development have not been disclosed.

Final Chapter

The final chapter of this property begins with the sale to a real estate speculator, Next 7th Properties. The plan was supposed to be to renovate the house and rent it out probably to local college students. This didn't pan out so arrangements were made for al asbestos to be removed and the house demolished. In addition, 12 trees on the property were removed along with much of the fencing along Juno Ave. (Photos show the side and back of the house).
