Terry Homestead, 54 Middle St Bristol, Hartford County, CT
The Terry Homestead has historical significance as the home of several generations of a family that made major contributions to the industrial development of Bristol. It also has architectural significance as one of the few remaining examples of 18th-century domestic architecture in town; its five-bay form, clapboarded exterior, remnant of its central chimney, and plain detailing are typical of Connecticut houses of the period.
