Lynn Realty Company, Building No. 3, 696 Washington St Lynn, Essex County, MA
Of little individual historical significance, Lynn Realty Company Building #3 was built as an attached neighbor to Lynn Realty Company Buildings #2, and eight story factory. Completed prior to 1905, probably built in 1902, Building #3 displays many of the same characteristics of the company`s eight story factories in plain red brick exterior with wide windows capped by colored brick arches. Secondary sources from the building`s period of construction do not suggest the building`s original use or the reasons why it should be so much smaller than any other Lynn Realty Company factories built between 1900 and 1910.
