John E. Haycock House; Built in 1884 (1898 according to Ramsey County property tax records;) Brown & Dowling, architects. Minnesota Historical Society records indicate that John E. Haycock resided at this address from 1894 to 1898, 1896, 1898, and 1900 city directories indicate that Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Haycock resided at this address. The 1902 city directory indicates that Mrs. J. T. Hallam resided at this address. Oakland Cemetery Association records indicate that Hilda Jane Spear (1822-1915,) the widowed mother of Mrs. Arthur W.
