Preceded only a few months by Trinity Church (Episcopal), "The Old Stone Church" is Cleveland`s second oldest. Established under "Plan of Union" of the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches, it is the Mother Church in Cleveland of the many Presbyterian and Congregational Churches which followed. It is the oldest surviving building in central city.
