Elmwood
"Elmwood" was designed by architect Harry Wild Jones in 1887. It was named in honor of the Oliver-Gerry-Lowell House in Cambridge Mass. Jones lived in the house with his family until his death in 1935. His wife sold the house in 1937. Elmwood was the first non-farming house in the Washburn Park (nee Tangletown) neighborhood.
