The following information was provided by the granddaughter of the original owner of this house. This is the house of Felice Bacigalupo, an Italian immigrant. The land was purchased in 1910 and in 1917 the house was built. The house photo is from around 1924. On the back of the garden photo is a reference to a greenhouse. Mr. and Mrs. Bacigalupo raised 8 children in the house at 1474 Edmund. Felice, who had store at various downtown locations, on Rondo, and after 1926 at Fry and Shields, would have used the garden plot to provide food for his family and store. Felice and Louise Bacigalupo and family 25th wedding anniversary photo. They all lived together at 1474 Edmund. Their 25th would have been 2/11/1932. Baby is Patricia Bacigalupo Joyce, with father is Norma Bacigalupo, next to her mother, Jean Bacigalupo Mulhern, L. to R. second row: Louis Bacigalupo, Alyce Bacigalupo Gorman, Louise Bacigalupo Rumpf, Evelyn Bacigalupo Cerri and John Bacigalupo.
