Original Owner: Sherman D Phelps Architect: Isaac G. Perry & Orville F. Roth Judge Phelps died on November 13, 1878 - his funeral was on the first floor of the mansion. In 1889 the mansion was sold to George Harry Lester, a local shoe manufacturer.
