Colgate & Company Jersey City Plant, Building No. D-9, 35 Sussex St Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ
D-9 served as an oil refining plant from c1915-86, part of a multi-structure refining and bleaching complex on Sussex Street which by 1942 included buildings D-6 and D-8 (HAER Nos. Nj-71-DD and NJ-71-EE). Although not an individually significant structure, D-9 was significant as a component of the Colgate plant.
