Original Owner: Isaac Newton Van Nuys Architect: Isaac Newton Van Nuys In 1900, the mansion had in residence: Isaac, Susanna (wife) Annis (daughter -known as Annie) Kate (daughter), James (son), Annis (mother-in-law) and three servants. (From Oldhomesoflosangeles.blogspot.com) Shown here in 1904 at its original location of 1445 West 6th Street - it was moved to its current location in 1915 by J. Benton Van Nuys, the son of Van Nuys. The 1973 movie starring Cindy Williams was filmed here. The 2003 movie Cheaper by the Dozen was filmed here.
