Walnut-Dollison Historic District, 510 South Dollison Ave (House), 510 South Dollison Ave Springfield, Greene County, MO
This frame building is one of many speculatively built rental houses erected along South Dollison Avenue around the turn of the century. It was occupied for a time around 1905 by traveling salesman A.A. Hamel, who later built the large bungalow next door at 900 East Elm. Picturesquely massed with some classical detailing, the house is a typical and well-preserved example of the late Victorian architecture of the time - a common house type.
