Building of house

This house was build by Lester Strom for his family. He worked for a construction contractor so built this home on evenings and weekends. His father and uncle came down from McIntosh, MN to help him. The Strom family lived in the house for 10 years then sold it to my parents in October of 1957. Lester Strom started his own construction business with Lee Mayville to form Strom & Mayville construction. They went on to build many South Minneapolis homes.
