Childhood home

My parents, John and Ellen Dougherty purchased this home when my father was transferred to Minneapolis by NSP in 1969 from Sioux Falls, SD. My parents were very proud to own a home and lived there basically until they passed away. My two brothers and I grew up there. When my family owned the house, there was only one bathroom. Initially there was no a/c until about 10 years after moving in. My father took great care in keeping the home in great shape and was always proud of his yard. We sold the house after my mom passed away in 2004.
