2374 West Lake of the Isles Parkway Home History Boehme and Cordelia, 1916 A superb Arts and Crafts-style house built for the grandson of the founder of Gluek's Brewery in Minneapolis. The art-glass windows that light the main staircase are especially fine. Alvin Gluek was an innovator in the brewery business and is often credited with developing the first malt liquor-a high-alcohol variation of beer-in 1942. Citation: Millett, Larry. AIA Guide to the Minneapolis Lake District. Minnesota Historical Society Press, 2009.
