2427 Lake of the Isles Pkwy E, Minneapolis, MN, USA

2427 Lake of the Isles Pkwy E Home History Frederick Soper, 1911 Minneapolis's very own Mediterranean villa, and quite a show- stopper. Mounted on a high corner lot above a series of gates, staircases, walls, and terraces, the L-shaped house is coated in gleaming white stucco and includes a spectacular curving veranda that poses prettily beneath a fanlike pergola. Not much is known about architect Frederick Soper, who seems to have practiced in Kansas City, MO, before moving north. Citation: Millett, Larry. AIA Guide to the Minneapolis Lake District. Minnesota Historical Society Press, 2009.
