Warren-Bache House, 86 State St Bristol, Bristol County, RI

86 State Street was designed by well known regional architect Russell Warren in 1807. Warren lived in the house from 1814 until 1823. This residence as interpreted by Warren is an example of the Federal Style of American Architecture. Warren`s use of such stylistic features as angulated quoins, an elliptical arched fanlight and the elaborately designed recessed portal gives the structure a notable style of its own.
