National Register of Historic Places - Eder-Baer House (Rosenwinkel House)

Statement of Significance: The Eder/Baer House is a well-preserved example of the Queen Anne style of architecture. This residence is the most architecturally significant building in a community in which "pure" architectural styles are not represented The Queen Anne style is most vividly exhibited in the use of contrasting materials (brick, wood, stone and terra cotta), the second story projections (tower and dormers), multi-gabled roof with tall chimneys, half-timbering in the rear gable end, decorative stained glass, and a full wrap-around porch.
